ChocoVersionSelect
Upgrade or downgrade a single Chocolatey package, with no command line required.
ChocoVersionSelect is a small WPF utility that gives non-technical Windows users a safe way to move a single package to a specific Chocolatey version — up or down — without touching a terminal. Point it at a package name and it lists every available version with its publish date, highlights the current and latest, and lets you pick; Chocolatey does the rest, with an admin escalation prompt only when one is actually needed.
It wraps Chocolatey's own list, search and upgrade commands, loads version data asynchronously so the UI never blocks, and respects Windows dark mode.
ChocoVersionSelect is free and open source under the MIT license, published under my gameshow.pro banner of reusable production tools alongside BgRaster. Install it straight from the Chocolatey Community Repository: choco install ChocoVersionSelect -y.
